About the event

Handel's Messiah as you have never seen it before!


This beautiful work by Clara Hurtado Lee features partnerships with FemDanceCompany and Utah Choir Project to tell the story of real-life professor, writer, and inspirational figure Dr. Melissa Wei-Tsing Inouye. Using music from the the Easter portion of Handel's Messiah, soloists, choir, orchestra, and dancers will tell the story of Melissa's life, loves, and untimely death from cancer. Along the way, the audience will experience a story of trial and ultimate redemption.
