Opera Contempo presents a curated evening of new music featuring piano/vocal works by Utah composers David Campbell, Monica Hymas, Clifford W. King and Jared Oaks. Librettists include Utah writers Jennifer Campbell, Liz Christensen, and Suzanne Evertsen Lundquist. Additional words from the writings of St. Clare, Emily Dickinson, and William Shakespeare. You’ll hear singing by Mandi Barrus, Melissa Gordon James, Anna Hawkes, and Clara Hurtado Lee, with Debby Cannon, Monica Hymas, Jared Oaks, and Jeffrey Price at the piano. Purchase tickets HERE
